From 1 November 2026, both of our branches offer premium in-clinic teeth whitening at AED 500, down from AED 700, as part of our Early Christmas Offers. You can also add a teeth cleaning for AED 100 more. A price like that raises fair questions: what exactly is included, who is a good candidate, what are the side effects, and is the cleaning upgrade worth it? This article answers those questions plainly so you can decide whether whitening is right for you before you book.

What the AED 500 whitening includes
- A dental check-up first. The dentist looks for cavities, cracked fillings and gum disease. Whitening gel on an untreated cavity or inflamed gum can be painful, so these are treated first if found.
- Gum protection. A protective barrier is placed on the gums before the whitening gel is applied.
- In-clinic whitening in one visit. The whitening gel is applied to the front teeth in cycles over about 60 to 90 minutes.
- Aftercare advice. What to eat and avoid for the first 48 hours, and how to manage sensitivity.
Not included unless you take the AED 100 upgrade: scaling and polishing if you have tartar or heavy staining (recommended before whitening), fillings or gum treatment if needed, and optional take-home trays for top-ups. Your dentist will tell you at the free consultation if any of these apply, and you can decide before anything is done.
Is the teeth cleaning upgrade worth AED 100?
Whitening gel works on clean enamel. If you have tartar or surface stains, the gel cannot reach the tooth evenly and the result can look patchy. Scaling and polishing removes that layer first, so most people who have not had a cleaning in the last six months benefit from the upgrade. The cleaning is done in the same visit, before the whitening, so allow about 30 extra minutes. Your dentist will tell you at the free check-up whether you need it. The offer price and the upgrade are the same at both branches, and both are open every day from 10 AM to 9 PM. See the teeth whitening page for the full price table.
Who is a good candidate
Whitening works on natural tooth enamel that has darkened from coffee, tea, red drinks, smoking or age. It tends to work well for yellowish stains and less well for grey or banded stains caused by certain medicines in childhood. It does not change the colour of crowns, veneers, bridges or fillings, so if you have these on your front teeth, your dentist will explain what will and will not change.
Whitening is not recommended if you:
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- are under 16
- have untreated decay, gum disease or very worn enamel
- have very sensitive teeth that have not been assessed
Side effects and risks
The most common side effect is tooth sensitivity to cold for one to three days. Mild gum irritation can also happen if gel touches the gums. Both usually settle on their own. Rarely, teeth can look patchy for a day or two while they rehydrate. Over-whitening, especially with repeated at-home kits, can damage enamel, which is why we recommend whitening under a dentist’s supervision and not more often than your dentist advises. Results vary from person to person, and no clinic can promise a specific shade.
How long results last
Most people keep a noticeably brighter shade for several months to a couple of years. Coffee, tea, red wine, turmeric and smoking bring stains back sooner. Brushing twice a day, rinsing after staining drinks and a professional scaling and polishing every six months help the result last longer.
How to book under the offer
- WhatsApp +971 55 791 6602, mention the Early Christmas whitening offer and tell us which branch you prefer.
- Come in for the free consultation. The dentist checks your teeth and confirms whether whitening is suitable and whether you need a cleaning first.
- If you are a good candidate, whitening can often be done in the same visit. Allow about 90 minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Is the AED 500 price available at both branches?
Yes. The Early Christmas Offer price of AED 500 (was AED 700) applies at both Deira (Al Rigga) and Barsha Heights (Tecom) from 1 November 2026, after a free check-up.
Do I need a cleaning before whitening?
If you have tartar or surface staining, the dentist will recommend scaling and polishing first so the gel works evenly. Under the Early Christmas Offer you can add the cleaning for AED 100, done in the same visit.
Does teeth whitening hurt?
Most people feel some cold sensitivity for one to three days. Your dentist protects your gums during treatment and can suggest a sensitivity toothpaste afterwards.
Will my crowns or veneers get whiter?
No. Whitening only changes natural enamel. Crowns, veneers and fillings keep their colour, so your dentist will discuss this before treatment if you have them on front teeth.
How many shades whiter will I get?
It depends on the type of stain and your natural tooth colour. Results vary from person to person, and we do not promise a specific shade.
Can I use Tabby or Tamara?
Yes, Tabby and Tamara are accepted, subject to their approval. Insurance is on a reimbursement basis only, and whitening is a cosmetic treatment that most policies do not cover.
