Essential Information About a Veneers

Veneers is a comprehensive cosmetic makeover that combines multiple treatments to improve the shape, shade and alignment of your smile.

What It Includes

Typically a combination of porcelain veneers on the top 8 to 10 visible teeth, professional teeth whitening for the back teeth, possible gum contouring to even the gum line, and a custom-designed bite plan for symmetry and comfort.

The Design Process

Your dentist photographs your face and smile from multiple angles, takes digital scans, and uses smile design software to preview your new smile before any work begins. Many patients try out a temporary mock-up to live with the design for a few days before committing.

The Procedure

Treatment spans two to four weeks. The first visit shapes the teeth and takes impressions. Temporary veneers are placed while the permanent ones are made by a dental laboratory. The second visit fits and bonds the final restorations.

Is It Permanent?

The minor amount of enamel removed for veneers is irreversible, so once you choose this path, the teeth will always need some form of restoration. Porcelain veneers can last many years with good care.

Caring for Your New Smile

Treat veneers like natural teeth. Brush twice daily with a non-abrasive toothpaste, floss daily, avoid biting hard objects, and wear a night guard if you grind. Regular cleanings every six months help your veneers last longer.

Cost Investment

At Anytime Dental, full mouth e.max veneers (20 units) are currently AED 9,600 (was AED 24,000), and e.max veneers per unit are AED 750 (was AED 1,500). The final price depends on the number of veneers and the material, and is confirmed after your free consultation. You can pay by card or cash, or split your payment with Tabby or Tamara.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from our patients in Dubai

How much do veneers cost at Anytime Dental?
Under our current offer (from 9 October 2026, at both branches), e.max veneers are AED 750 per tooth (was AED 1,500). A full mouth of 20 e.max veneers is AED 9,600 (was AED 24,000). Prices are estimates. The final price depends on how many teeth you treat and is confirmed after a free consultation.
What is a Hollywood smile?
A Hollywood smile is a common name for a set of veneers or crowns on the front teeth that are visible when you smile, often 16 to 20 teeth across the upper and lower jaws. Your dentist will advise how many teeth you need based on your smile and bite.
Do veneers damage your natural teeth?
To fit a porcelain veneer, the dentist usually removes a thin layer of enamel from the front of the tooth. This cannot be reversed, so the tooth will always need a veneer or another restoration afterwards. Your dentist will explain how much preparation your case needs before you decide.
How long do veneers last?
With good care, porcelain veneers can last many years, and many studies report 10 years or more. How long they last depends on your habits, for example teeth grinding, biting hard objects and how well you clean your teeth. Veneers may need to be repaired or replaced in the future.
How many visits do veneers take?
Most cases need two to three visits over two to four weeks: a consultation and smile planning, a visit to prepare the teeth and take scans or impressions, and a visit to fit the final veneers. Temporary veneers may be placed in between.
What are the risks of veneers?
Possible risks include tooth sensitivity, chipping or cracking, a veneer coming loose, and gum irritation. Veneers may not be suitable if you have untreated gum disease or decay, or if you grind your teeth without wearing a night guard. Your dentist will check this at your consultation.
