Many kababayan in Dubai put off dental care because the first visit feels like a lot of unknowns: Will they understand me? How much will it cost? Can I continue the treatment I started back home? This guide lists the questions worth asking any clinic before you sit in the chair, and how we answer them at Anytime Dental in Deira and Barsha Heights.
Why language matters at the dentist
Dental treatment involves choices: which option to start with, what the risks are, how long healing takes and what aftercare you need. When you can describe your pain and ask follow-up questions in Tagalog, it is easier to understand each option and give informed consent. That is the main reason many Filipino patients look for a Filipino-friendly dental clinic in Dubai. Our team speaks English and Tagalog. We do not have Arabic-speaking staff, so please let us know in advance if you need help with that.
8 questions to ask before your first visit
1. Can I talk to the team in Tagalog?
Ask this when you message or call. At Anytime Dental you can chat with us on WhatsApp in English or Tagalog before you come in, and the same team helps you at the clinic.
2. Is the consultation free, and what does it include?
Some clinics charge for the first check. Ours is free. The dentist looks at your teeth and gums, listens to your concern and explains possible options. If an X-ray is needed to plan treatment, we will tell you before taking it.
3. Do you have X-ray in the clinic?
An in-house X-ray saves you a second trip to a radiology centre. Both of our branches have one, which helps when you need a plan for a root canal, an extraction or braces.
4. How much will it cost, and when will I know the final price?
Any price you see online is an estimate. The final price depends on what the dentist finds, the materials chosen and how many visits you need. Ask for a written plan with the cost of each step before you agree to anything. We share this after your consultation, so there are no surprises later.
5. Can I pay in instalments?
If you prefer to split the cost, ask which payment options the clinic takes. We accept cash, card, Tabby and Tamara. Tabby and Tamara approvals and terms are set by those providers, so check the details in their apps before you pay.
6. Can I use my insurance?
Many workers in Dubai have basic plans with limited dental cover. We work on a reimbursement basis only, which means you pay at the clinic and then claim from your insurer with the invoice and documents we give you. What you get back depends on your own policy. Our insurance reimbursement guide explains the steps.
7. I started braces in the Philippines. Can you continue them?
Yes, we accept braces transfer cases. Bring any records you have, such as old X-rays, photos or notes from your previous dentist. The dentist checks the brackets and wires, then explains whether the current setup can continue or needs changes. Read more in our braces transfer guide.
8. What are your hours, and can I walk in after work?
Long shifts make daytime visits hard. Both branches are open every day from 10 AM to 9 PM, including weekends, and walk-ins are welcome. Messaging us on WhatsApp first helps reduce your waiting time.
