Clear aligners are a popular way for adults in Dubai to straighten their teeth without metal brackets. This guide explains clear aligners cost in Dubai at our Deira (Al Rigga) and Barsha Heights (Tecom) branches.

What are clear aligners?

Clear aligners are a series of thin, transparent trays made to fit your teeth. Each set moves your teeth a small step, and you change to the next set every one to two weeks. They are removable, so you take them out to eat, drink anything other than water and brush. You can read more on our clear aligners page.

What affects the final price of clear aligners?

  • How much your teeth need to move: mild crowding or a small gap usually needs fewer aligner sets than more complex cases.
  • One arch or both: some people only need the upper or lower teeth treated.
  • Treatment before aligners: decay, gum problems or an infected tooth may need treatment first, such as a cleaning, a filling or a root canal. These are charged separately.
  • Your bite: some bite problems cannot be corrected with aligners alone, and your dentist may suggest braces or a combined approach instead.
  • Wear time: aligners only work when worn 20 to 22 hours a day. Not wearing them enough can slow progress and may mean more refinement trays.

What is included in our Signature Aligners offer?

Free 3D smile design

Your teeth are scanned to create a 3D model, and a digital plan shows how your teeth are expected to move at each stage. This helps you understand the plan before you decide. The plan is a guide, and actual results vary from person to person.

Free refinements

Teeth do not always move exactly as planned. Refinements are extra aligner sets made near the end of treatment to fine-tune the position of your teeth, if your dentist decides they are needed.

Free retainers

After treatment, teeth can drift back towards their old position. A retainer helps hold them in place. Your dentist will tell you how often to wear it.

Clear aligners vs braces: cost and lifestyle

Metal braces are often the lower-cost option. Under our current offer, metal braces for two arches are AED 1,200 and ceramic braces for two arches are AED 2,500, while Signature Aligners start from AED 3,500. Aligners are less visible and removable, which many working adults like, but they need discipline because you must wear them most of the day. Braces are fixed, so they work all the time, and they can suit more complex cases. Our guides on braces cost in Dubai and clear aligners vs braces explain more. Your dentist will tell you which option suits your teeth at the consultation.

What happens during clear aligner treatment?

  1. Free consultation: the dentist checks your teeth and gums, takes an in-house X-ray if needed and tells you if aligners are suitable.
  2. Scan and 3D smile design: your teeth are scanned and your treatment plan is prepared.
  3. Fitting: you receive your first aligners and learn how to wear and clean them.
  4. Check-ups: usually every 6 to 8 weeks to follow your progress.
  5. Retainer: once treatment ends, you wear a retainer to help keep the result.

Risks and aftercare

Like any dental treatment, clear aligners have possible risks. You may feel pressure or soreness for a day or two with each new set, and the edges can rub the gums or cheeks. Poor cleaning while wearing aligners can raise the risk of decay and gum problems, and teeth can move back if the retainer is not worn. Aligners are not suitable for every case. Results vary from person to person, and your dentist will explain the risks before you decide. Clean your aligners daily with a soft brush and lukewarm water, and brush your teeth before putting them back in.

You can pay by cash, card, Tabby or Tamara (see our guide to Tabby and Tamara for dental treatment). Insurance is on a reimbursement basis only: you pay at the clinic and we provide the documents for your claim, depending on your policy. We do not offer direct billing.
