Essential Information About Dental Implants

A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. After it integrates with the bone, a custom crown is attached on top, restoring full chewing function and a natural look.

Why Choose Implants?

Implants preserve the jawbone, do not require shaping neighboring teeth, allow normal chewing of any food, and can last many years with proper care. They feel and function similar to natural teeth.

The Process

Treatment typically spans three to six months. First, the implant is placed in a short surgery under local anesthesia. Over the next three to four months, the implant fuses with the bone (osseointegration). Then an abutment and the final crown are attached.

Are You a Candidate?

Most healthy adults with adequate jawbone are candidates. Patients with bone loss may need a bone graft. Smokers and those with uncontrolled diabetes have lower success rates and need careful management.

Pain & Recovery

The placement is comfortable with local anesthesia. Mild swelling and tenderness for a few days is normal, easily managed with over-the-counter pain relievers. Soft foods are recommended for the first week.

Long-Term Care

Implants need the same daily care as natural teeth: twice-daily brushing, flossing around the implant, and six-month professional cleanings. With good care, implants can last many years.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from our patients in Dubai

How much does a dental implant cost at Anytime Dental?
Under our current offer (from 9 October 2026, at both branches), a JDent implant is AED 2,500 (was AED 5,000), Neodent is AED 3,500 (was AED 7,000) and Straumann is AED 4,000 (was AED 8,000). Bone grafting, if needed, is charged separately. Your dentist will explain what is included in your quote. Prices are estimates. Your dentist confirms the final price after a free consultation and X-ray.
Does getting a dental implant hurt?
The implant is placed under local anaesthesia, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain during the procedure. Swelling, bruising and soreness for a few days afterwards are common. Your dentist will advise you on pain relief and soft foods for the first days.
How long does implant treatment take?
It usually takes three to six months from placement to the final crown. The implant needs time to bond with the jawbone before the crown is fitted. If you need a bone graft, treatment can take longer. Your dentist will give you a timeline after your assessment.
Am I suitable for a dental implant?
Many healthy adults with enough jawbone can have an implant. We check your bone with an X-ray at the clinic during your consultation. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and gum disease can lower the chance of success, so your dentist will review your health history before recommending treatment.
What are the risks of dental implants?
Possible risks include infection, swelling, bleeding, irritation of nearby nerves or sinuses, and the implant not bonding with the bone. These are not common, but they can happen. Your dentist will explain the risks for your case and how to lower them before you decide.
Can I pay in instalments or use my insurance?
Yes, you can split your payment with Tabby or Tamara. We work with insurance on a reimbursement basis: you pay at the clinic, then claim the amount from your insurer, and our team helps you with the paperwork.

All prices are estimates and can vary from case to case. Every dental treatment carries possible risks, and results vary from one person to another.
